Cristina Perales | Casting director
Cristina Perales is a casting director with more than 20 years of experience in Film, Television and Advertising.
She has participated in films such as Pan’s Labyrinth and The Devil’s Backbone, both directed by Guillermo del Toro, and Talk to Her directed by Pedro Almodóvar. As well as the films Pregnant and Under the same roof with the director Juana Macías.
On television, the series + de 100 mentiras and Albanta, produced by Lucky Road for A3 Studios, stand out.
Her latest works include the film Ocho apellidos marroquís produced by La Zona and distributed by Telecinco Cinema and Camino de la suerte, directed by Jorge Alonso’s first film produced by Lyo Media and which is in post-production.
In addition to being a casting director, Cristina Perales is an actor’s coach, and prepares actors for other national and international productions.
In January 2023, Intacto Espacio Creativo opens where the Casting office and studio are located.
Jaime de Torres | Casting assistant
His interest in the arts comes from a very young age. He graduated from the School of Dramatic Art in Malaga in the Textual Interpretation modality, making it compatible with interpretation, improvisation and camera courses.
He has worked in different theater companies such as Aula Negra and Elenco Teatro, in which he has been part of the production, direction and management, highlighting the co-direction of the musical Tribute to Abba and the play Elikia, the latter being produced and represented on a tour of Ecuador. He has also worked on various audiovisual productions, such as the Disney Channel series Coco y Lana produced by Lucky Road.
Since 2020 he has been working as a casting assistant for Cristina Perales, having done work such as the international short film The weeping man by Ángel Gómez; and in the films Ocho apellidos marroquís directed by Álvaro Fernández Armero with the production of La Zona and Camino de la suerte directed by Jorge Alonso produced by Lyo Media.
Bea Peña | Second Assistant Casting
She began at a very young age in the theater, where she represented works such as La Quixotada or Doña Rosita, in addition to receiving contemporary and flamenco classes.
Graduated in Dramatic Art in Textual Interpretation at the Superior School of Dramatic Art in Malaga.
She has taken theater and camera acting courses with professionals such as Javier Oliva, Fernando Gil and the TNT laboratory. She has worked with Aula Negra in all their productions. During the years of her studies, she has represented works such as Blood Wedding by Federico García Lorca or the tragedy of Iphigenia and a production together with the Echegaray Theater with Frontera Norte that won the Ateneo award for Best Children’s Show of 2019. Her latest works has been the productions of Aula Negra, carried out through the Nuria Rengifo Museum of Contemporary Art, in which Elikia and Enzootia took place, touring Ecuador.
Since 2022, she has been working in Cristina Perales’ team as a second casting assistant for the film Ocho apellidos marroquís directed by Álvaro Fernández Armero with the production of La Zona.
